Do you choose one picture among a dozen to put up as your profile picture? Do you keep redoing pictures till you look at least a kilogram slimmer? Do you have that one angle pose in all your pictures? How about trying a pout selfie?
While you may wear black to camouflage all that weight, I have some amazing ideas for some super sexy and slim-effect pictures! Did you know - People who can take a perfect selfie are more intelligent?
Tips and tricks
When getting clicked in a group, never stand at the end. Push yourself in between with your body slightly twisted to either side.
Never, and I mean never get clicked from below, it will only make you look bigger. The camera should be above or at least in line with your eye.
Getting clicked when sitting? Always cross your legs and turn your body slightly sideways. (Always better to stand though.)
Get the camera above you for that super chic selfie. Raise your chin, turn your head a bit and flash that beautiful smile. Click! There’s a masterpiece!
A standalone picture is just right when you are turned sideways and looking straight into the camera. Hands could be straight or held, but definitely not on the hips.
To hide huge arms wear clothes with sleeves. You could also pose sideways to show off just one side. It helps create a slimmer effect.
Tied up hair can make you look slimmer, a high pony tail or bun will do the trick! Team this hairdo with some nice long dangle earrings for that slim effect.
If you have shoulder length hair to your rescue, keep them open and straightened for that long-face effect.
Always smile genuinely. Think of a happy moment if you’re not in the mood to smile.
Be comfortable in your skin, it shows!.

4 Simple Steps To Do Manicure And Pedicure At Home
“Beauty goes beyond a pretty face”: Whoever said so was very wise. There is a big difference between being pretty genetically and being well-groomed. A girl who takes care of herself can be identified instantly. All girls take care of themselves to maintain a pretty face. But, to figure who truly takes proper care of herself, just look at her hands and feet. Being the essential parts of the human body, hands and feet go through the most amount of torture day in and day out. Without proper care, they show early signs of aging and exposure. To take due care, they should be given proper manicure and pedicure, at least once every fortnight.

How to Dress up for a Party
Do you love parties, but you're not really sure how to dress up for one? What if you are shy and just want to make a good first impression? Not to worry - this article will tell you everything you need to know about dressing and generally getting ready for a party. Just see Step 1 below to get started.
started.
Method 1 of 3: Choosing an Outfit and Accessories
1
Think about the time and location of the party. As all girls know, choosing the right outfit for a party is a very important task. The first thing you need to consider is the time and location of the party, as this will affect everything -- from your clothes and your shoes to your jewelry and makeup!
If the party is during the day, at a bowling alley or theme park, you probably want to go with something comfortable yet cool, like jeans and a statement tee.
If the party is at night, in a fancy restaurant or club, you will probably need to go a little dressier and wear something like a cute dress, a playsuit or a skirt and top combo.
2
Consider your own personal style. When you're attending a cool party, you want to stand out -- but in a good way.
So if you want to be unique, you should come up with a cool alternative to the norm that suits your personality but still fits with the vibe of the party.
For example, if you're not the type of girl who would normally wear high heels, but you still want to look glam, you could try wearing a pair of bejewelled sneakers instead!
3
Think about your budget. Can you afford to buy a new outfit, or do you need to work with what's already in your wardrobe?
If it's the latter, consider combining your existing clothes in new and unusual ways, try layering a couple of tops on top of each other, clashing non-matching patterns or combining unusual fabric -- like a black biker jacket with a pretty silk dress.

The Best Drugstore Stand-Ins for High-End Makeup Favorites
Saving money has never looked so good.
Who can resist a good beauty bargain that will get you glam without costing you the big bucks? We scoured drugstore shelves and consulted the industry’s top makeup artists and experts for the ultimate list of inexpensive dupes for your favorite high-end makeup products.
Mascara
Just a few flicks of Boots No7 Extreme Length Lash mascara will give you the same luscious, sky-high fringe as its high-end counterpart. “It adds a ton of length, and the formula is soft and clump-free,” says Kerry Cole, style director of Becca
Liquid Liner
Wet n Wild’s intensely pigmented formula and simple brush applicator make it just as easy and effortless to create precise lines as the LancĂ´me cult classic. “The royal blue and teal are super rich shades,” says Lauren Cosenza, a professional makeup artist and founder of DIVAlicious blog.
Eyebrow Pencil
Andrea Pomerantz Lustig, a veteran beauty editor and author of How to Look Expensive: A Beauty Editor’s Secrets to Getting Gorgeous Without Breaking the Bank, loves Sonia Kashuk Brow Definer’s perfect texture, which isn’t too soft or too hard. For a natural look, she applies quick pencil-like strokes to just the areas that need filling in but scatters some strokes throughout her brows to blend in the color. Lustig recommends going a shade lighter than your actual brow color for the most natural effect.

Look Younger in 60 Seconds
Let the countdown begin.
Michele Promaulayko is the former editor-in-chief of Women's Health and author of 20 Pounds Younger, which is published by Rodale, Women's Health's parent company.
Big goals can sometimes seem overwhelming. I’m a big fan of incremental tweaks, small changes that add up to make a serious difference. A while back, for example, I vowed to eat breakfast at my table rather than at the dishwasher while emptying dishes. Now I choose healthier food, I eat more slowly, I enjoy my meal more, and I eat less. What tiny changes can you make today that will pay off big down the road? Here are some healthy life hacks to get you started.
Build a bonfire to burn more calories. Two simple facts: Muscle burns more calories than fat does, and firm glutes look good in jeans. To get the most bang out of your exercise time, then, focus on the largest muscles in your body first—your legs and butt. Do it with one simple exercise that can be done anywhere: the air squat. Stand with your feet slightly wider than hip-width apart, arms straight in front of you and parallel with the floor. Soften your knees, then slowly push your hips back and drop your buttocks toward the floor, until your thighs are parallel to the ground or lower. Pause there for two seconds, and then quickly return to standing. Repeat 11 more times. The slower you lower, the harder and more effective the exercise will be.

What You Need to Know About the Number One Cancer Killer of Women
By now, you’ve probably read or at least heard of Cheryl Strayed’s bestselling book Wild, which was recently turned into a movie starring Reese Witherspoon and Laura Dern. In it, Cheryl describes her journey hiking the Pacific Crest Trail after her mom’s death at age 45 to lung cancer.
Because of this, Cheryl has always been passionate about educating others about the disease. That’s why she recently partnered with Lung Force, a new national movement led by the American Lung Association (ALA) to raise both awareness and research funds. And at this year's Oscars, she and Laura promoted Lung Force by wearing turquoise (the color of the organization).
We had the chance to speak with the author about what she wishes all women knew about lung cancer, why this partnership is so important to her, and more.
The surprising lung cancer fact she wants all women to know: “I had no idea when my mom was diagnosed that it was the number one cancer killer of women,” says Cheryl, whose mom died 24 years ago. What’s more, it’s actually the leading cancer killer in both men and women and causes more deaths than colon, breast, and pancreatic cancers combined, according to the ALA. “Whenever I tell people that lung cancer is the number one cancer killer of women, they’re never not surprised,” says Cheryl.
